Stabbed to death for one hundred dollars and a pizza. A crappy pizza at that. We know people are struggling for money and jobs right now in this economy, but killing someone who has a job, who needs that job that does not pay a lot, for a small amount of cash and that crappy pizza is a cruel, and “vicious” crime.
Three suspects were arrested , ages twenty, eighteen and seventeen, in connection with this crime. According to the Boston Police, the pizza delivery man, Richel Nova, was repeatedly stabbed when he went to a kitchen door of a house to deliver a pizza that was ordered to that address. The three suspects, after stabbing him, took all the money he had, the one hundred dollars, the pizza and fled in Richel Nova’s car.
Before ordering the pizza, the three suspects, Michel Andre St. Jean, Alexander Emanuel Gallet and Yamiley Mathurin, broke into the abandoned house from where they made the call to Domino’s.
Richel Nova was a hard worker, he held down three jobs to provide for his family. He has twin daughters and a son. The fact that our youth, it seems, has become so callous and so uncaring about a life, is so disturbing and depressing. My sympathies go out to Richel Nova’s family, friends and co-workers.
