Founder and Principal Consultant
Braegar brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in procurement, subcontract administration, contract management, and commercial operations — built across some of the most demanding and compliance-intensive environments in American industry. His career spans Bell Helicopter, Consolidated Nuclear Security at the Pantex Plant, and Northrop Grumman, where he rose to Senior Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist working across defense, aerospace, energy, and construction sectors.
His construction contracting experience is deep and direct. At the Pantex Plant — one of the nation's most secure and regulated federal facilities — Braegar developed and administered procurement strategies for major construction projects from initial design through closeout. His work included Title III support, pre-bid conferences, site walk-downs, pre-construction meetings, scope and specification changes, budget management, and contract modifications. He navigated consent requirements with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Nuclear Production Office (NPO), managed RFPs and contract awards for line item projects, and collaborated across programs, project management, legal, and compliance to keep complex construction engagements on track and on budget.
In the aerospace and defense space, Braegar managed subcontracts and procurement across Bell Helicopter's tactical procurement operations and Northrop Grumman's IT Services Group, supporting the entire enterprise. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt who applied process improvement methodology to redefine standard operating procedures, optimize resource allocation, and build more effective training and onboarding systems. His negotiation experience is substantial — his largest single engagement involved negotiating a contract from over $100 million down to $67 million, delivering more than $33 million in documented savings for the federal government.
Braegar holds a Master of Science in Finance and Economics, a Master of Business Administration in Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business — all from West Texas A&M University. He has completed specialized training in Contract Pricing and Federal Contracting Basics through Duke Corporate Education, has previously qualified for a FEMA Emergency Management Certification, and earned his Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt in 2017.
Vector-Ops was founded on a straightforward observation: the same commercial discipline that enterprise companies take for granted — rigorous contract review, structured procurement, strategic pricing — is largely inaccessible to the small businesses and contractors who need it most. Vector-Ops changes that. By combining Braegar's real-world operational expertise with modern AI-enhanced analysis tools, the firm delivers faster, clearer, and more actionable advisory support than traditional alternatives — at a fraction of the cost of in-house staff or legal counsel.
All services are business-oriented operational and commercial advisory services. Vector-Ops does not provide legal advice. When clients require legal counsel, Braegar refers clients to qualified legal professionals as a courtesy.
